Solar energy is the energy which is obtained directly from sunlight. Special process and chemicals are used in order to convert sunlight into electrons which conduct electricity. History of Solar Power

Alexandre Edmond Becquerel in 1839 discovered the science behind photovoltaic effects which is the main technology used in solar power generation.
